Y'all know I'm a huge animal lover (I used to work at the Humane Society here in Atlanta) so of course this editorial shot by Emily Shur for PAPER magazine is right up my alley. What's really awesome, though, is the message behind it: Please rescue before you shop! Amen, PAPER mag.

Doggie Gaga

Anyone who knows me well knows I have a strange affinity for animals dressed in costume. In fact, my own dog had not one but two halloween costumes this past year (a submarine and a hotdog if you must know). So naturally, I found Jesse Freidin's Doggie Gaga Project to be absolutely delightful. Check it out and more of his work on his site.

Bambi on Desire to Inspire!

My baby girl Bambi (and half the reason for the name of this blog) made her blog debut yesterday on Desire to Inspire's Pets on Furniture feature and I was so proud that she made the cut ;) Here is the photo:
