Feist's new album Metals drops October 4th and I can't wait for the chance to see her live in concert in November. You can check out the full tracklist, album cover and upcoming tour dates here. For now, here's a flashback to 2007 to get you all excited:

Hey Monday!

Here are some other things I am enjoying this lovely Monday morning.

these amazing pencil sculptures by Dalton Ghetti

videos of Amy Winehouse - may she rest in peace

Foster the People

I first heard Foster the People in this video I shared back in April and knew I loved their sound. Now they are all over the radio and I can't get enough of this song:

Perfect for an easy Sunday morning. I can't wait to catch them live this Thursday at the Masquerade in Atlanta!

why can't we be friends?

just because I love some interspecies mingling.

The Silliest Thing I Ever Saw

Lets Move

I didn't think I could love Beyonce any more - until I saw her killing it in this new video as part of Michelle Obama's Let's Move! Campaign that promotes the benefits of healthy eating and exercise towards kids. Take that childhood obesity!

Second Chance

Peter Bjorn and John are coming to Atlanta on Thursday to play the Masquerade and I couldn't be more excited. Love this song and creative video from their 6th and most recent album Gimme Some called Second Chance.

I am also loving their funny blog, where they had this to say about coming to Atlanta:

last time we went there we went dj:ing in a bar and bjorn drank a lot of champagne and fainted in a corner.
I remember playing a madlib track and a Russian lady came up to the dj-booth and said:
-you should not play Chinese music here, people won’t like it.
No problem.

on Thursday we will bring a brand new white drumkit and a red cowbell, Björn will be dressed in black (maybe with a grey jacket) and Peter has learned a new guitar riff that is off the hook! (and also off tune).

see u soon!

Looking forward to the new white drumkit and red cowbell. And hopefully there will be no fainting in corners.

Still in love with Judas baby

Lady Gaga leaked her new single "Judas" today, four days earlier than scheduled, to the delight of little monsters everywhere. My first thought: it sounds suspiciously similar to Bad Romance, a song that I love, but I like to see a little more creativity from her. While I have yet to form a definitive opinion on the jam, 'juuu das ju de ah ah' will undoubtably be ringing in my head all weekend.

Fitz and the Tantrums

This song never gets old for me. They'll be at The Loft this Thursday - check here for more tour dates.

Dog Boarding

While we're on the subject of dogs, I saw this video on Stereogum and it is AMAZING!
