Outdoor Envy

This week's outdoor envy features just one spectacular space, because it deserves its own post. On the roof of an old steel cooperative in the industrial district of Antwerp, Belgium, you'll find the surprising sight of sheep, chickens, ducks, and roosters frolicking in a meadow surrounding a barn and connected farmhouse.

The barn where the animals live is connected to the farmhouse/apartment. The owners come up at least twice a day every day to feed and care for the animals and take advantage of their little slice of bucolic heaven.

From the outside, you can access the apartment via the orangery where ferns, lime and kiwi trees grow.

How lovely is that?
