Her + There

How lovely is Elle Fanning in this photoshoot from Marie Claire? She is adorable. And much more tolerable than her sister. No offense Dakota. Also loving this little nook - so cozy with the fireplace. Although I might want to add an egg crate or something for more cushion, but I bet the view out that window makes up for it.

Doggie Gaga

Anyone who knows me well knows I have a strange affinity for animals dressed in costume. In fact, my own dog had not one but two halloween costumes this past year (a submarine and a hotdog if you must know). So naturally, I found Jesse Freidin's Doggie Gaga Project to be absolutely delightful. Check it out and more of his work on his site.

Three Lessons

...From Sienna Miller

1. Amp up your outfit with a bright pair of shoes.

2. When in doubt, opt for stripes.

3. Tuck in a white button-down for a chic, pulled together look.

Lohans Latest

I felt the need to share Lindsay Lohan's editorial in Blank Magazine (wait, what magazine?) even though I don't know what I think about it. I love the styling, but maybe for someone else, because a part of me wishes she would try to redeem herself instead of living up to her crappy reputation. Put your cigarette down, close your legs and act like a lady for goodness sake! I will give her this- she looks like she gained some weight and it has done her body good.

Fashion Police: Met Gala 2011

The Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute Gala is arguably the most fashionable event of the year and definitely the most exciting red carpet spectacle. This year's event celebrates Alexander McQueen and the opening of the Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty exhibition. Last night's red carpet fashion did not disappoint. Here are some of my favorites in no particular order:

Zoe Saldana looked absolutely gorgeous in yellow Calvin Klein that worked so well with her skin tone. Sarah Jessica Parker looked chic and downright sexy (which I don't think I have ever said about her before) in her Alexander McQueen dress. The detailing on the dress is ah-mazing (see below). Naomi Watts glowed in Stella McCartney - she really can do no wrong in my book.

Zoe's makeup was spot on and that awesome necklace added a rocker edge to her sunny strapless gown and really made her look for me.

love how SJP layered on the rings.
